En esta ocasión me gustaría referirme a una lesión característica del hombro, la llamada lesión de slap. El hombro es la articulación más flexible del cuerpo humano. Podríamos decir que se encuentra suspendido en el aire. Está encajado en una cavidad denominada glenoidea y rodeada por un anillo que se llama labrum. El slap es el desgarro de este labrum.
En él, se inserta el tendón largo del bíceps, por lo que una tensión o esfuerzo extra del bíceps puede originar esta lesión.
