Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe once admitted that he got so aroused during sex scenes with Eva Longoria, he couldn’t get out of bed.

In a resurfaced interview, Metcalfe detailed his bedroom struggles and explained how he tried to deal with his manhood.

He spoke to US radio station 106.5 Sacramento and said: “It happens. It doesn’t happen frequently because there are a lot of people on set and it can be very technical, but it happens from time to time.”

The interviewer questioned him about Eva’s reaction and Jess replied: “As a matter of fact, in the first scene we ever had - where Gabriella and John first had sex - we were rehearsing and then the director was like: ‘Ok, get out of bed, we have to reset the set’.”

Metcalfe appeared in the comedy-drama series as gardener John Rowland, who became embroiled in a romantic relationship with Longoria’s character Gabriella Solis.

The pair had many intimate scenes together throughout the show and Jesse became a heartthrob among Desperate Housewives fans.

Eva is still looking as gorgeous as ever and regularly gets spotted out and about with her husband Jose Baston.

The actress pushed her long brunette locks behind her shoulders and accessorised with a dainty gold chain necklace.

In pictures with her hubby, Eva was seen sharing an intimate moment as the pair cuddled and kissed each other by the beach.

Jose wore a blue shirt with peach coloured beach shorts as he held his wife in a loving embrace.

Baston also kept things simple with a pair of black sunglasses and a large silver watch to accessorise.
